02 — Since Crozer closed
In January 2026, Riddle's president said emergency visits were up by more than a third since Crozer-Chester and Taylor closed. As a result, waits can be long for problems that aren't urgent. So for minor issues, an urgent care center or your own doctor may be faster.
In January 2026, Pennsylvania also gave Riddle about $4 million. As a result, the hospital can hire more staff for the extra patients.
Riddle doesn't hold Crozer records. Instead, request them from Morgan Records Management before March 2, 2027. Our Crozer records guide shows how.
ChristianaCare Hospital in Aston opened in June 2026. Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby is also open. Both run 24/7 emergency rooms, so compare all hospitals in Delaware County before you go.
