Crozer Health Center Guide helps Delaware County residents after the 2025 closure of Crozer-Chester Medical Center and Taylor Hospital. For example, it explains how to get old medical records, where to find an open ER, and what happened to the hospitals.
How we work
Crozer Health Center Guide is run by an independent publisher. It is not a hospital, clinic, government agency or law firm.
We draw every fact about Crozer, the closures and the records process from public sources. For example, we rely on Delaware County's Crozer updates, the hospitals' own sites and news outlets such as the Philadelphia Inquirer, WHYY and Becker's. Also, each page lists its sources and a “last checked” date.
We recheck the records guide and the campus reopening plans every month until March 2, 2027. In addition, we verify hospital phone numbers against official sites every quarter. So if a campus reopens or the records rules change, we update the page that week.
We don't give medical or legal advice. Also, we don't take medical-record requests or collect health information; record requests go only through Morgan Records Management. Finally, we don't use Crozer's logos, photos or text.
Right now this site earns nothing. Later, we may add free referral pages that connect readers with local providers, such as urgent care or dental offices. In that case, those providers may pay us for referrals, and every such page will say so plainly, next to the form. However, our information pages, including the records guide, will never carry forms.
