The Crozer patient portal, HealthLink, is no longer the official way to get your records from Crozer-Chester Medical Center, Taylor Hospital or the other Crozer Health sites. Since July 2025, every request goes through Morgan Records Management’s online system. Our guide to requesting your Crozer medical records walks through it field by field. Above all, watch the clock: Delaware County says unclaimed Crozer records are set for destruction after March 2, 2027.
This guide is independent and isn’t affiliated with Crozer Health, Prospect Medical Holdings, Morgan Records Management or any hospital. It doesn’t give medical or legal advice.
What happened to the Crozer patient portal
Crozer Health ran a single patient portal called HealthLink (written Health+Link in some of its own materials) for hospital and outpatient care. It went live on November 2, 2021. It replaced the older CKHospital portal, which Crozer says it discontinued on November 1, 2021.
When the system wound down in spring 2025, Crozer’s closure letter to patients told former patients they could still see their records in HealthLink. However, that changed in July 2025. Prospect Medical Holdings, Crozer’s bankrupt owner, handed all record requests to one outside company. The county’s Prospect bankruptcy update page says Morgan Records Management has handled every Crozer request since then, and Crozer’s own records page now says the system “has contracted with Morgan Records for all medical records requests.”
Here is the confusing part. As of this check, the HealthLink login and self-enrollment pages still load. Still, neither Crozer, Prospect nor the county has said whether the records inside are complete or whether new accounts work. Nobody publishes an end date either. If you still have a working login to the Crozer patient portal, download or print what you can see. Even so, don’t treat it as your copy of the chart. A full, official copy comes from Morgan.
Old Crozer patient portal names you may run into
| Name | What it was | Status now |
|---|---|---|
| CKHospital portal / myCKHealth | Crozer-Keystone’s older portal | Closed in November 2021. The old ckhospitalportal.org address is now a parked domain, so don’t enter anything there. |
| HealthLink (Health+Link) | Crozer Health’s portal from November 2021 | Login page still loads; no longer the official request route and no published shutdown date |
| Morgan Records Management | The records company Prospect hired in 2025 | The official way to request Crozer records today |
How to get your records without the Crozer patient portal
Requests are online only. Delaware County’s step-by-step guide from May 2026 lays out the general medical records request, and it comes down to these steps:
- Go to Morgan’s Crozer records page and choose the department you need.
- Pick Pennsylvania as the state and the matching Crozer record set.
- Enter your full name, date of birth, phone number and email address.
- Choose a reason (changing doctors or personal interest are listed options).
- Verify your identity with your Social Security number or a photo of a government ID.
- Choose Secure HIPAA Electronic Transfer, which the county guide lists at $0.
- Review the authorization page, sign with your mouse or finger, and submit.
- Write down the ticket ID that appears. You’ll need it to check the request on Morgan’s status page.
Plan on several requests, because Morgan treats each department as its own request. Its Crozer page lists General Medical Records, Radiology, Maternity, Endoscopy, Oncology, Mental Health / Behavioral Health, Billing, Pathology Report and Pathology Specimen. For example, a birth at Crozer-Chester plus a later CT scan means at least two forms. Morgan says it handles requests in the order they arrive. It doesn’t publish a turnaround time.
For X-rays, CT and MRI images, there is one extra wrinkle. According to the county, ChristianaCare can access certain Crozer imaging records because it bought some former Crozer outpatient offices. The March 2027 destruction doesn’t include those images. ChristianaCare’s imaging line, as listed by the county, is 610-765-4175 or 866-525-9729.
What it costs, and the refund question
When Morgan took over in July 2025, it charged $35 for emailed records and $75 for a USB drive, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. After pushback from local officials, the Foundation for Delaware County agreed to pay $3 million to make records free. Then the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s office announced on August 20, 2025 that the bankruptcy court had approved the deal. It covers up to 43,000 patients.
Today, the county guide lists emailed records at $0. A mailed USB drive still carries a fee. Morgan’s page doesn’t print the amount, so check the total on the delivery screen first.
Refunds are where the official messages don’t line up. The Attorney General’s 2025 announcement said people who had already paid would not get their money back. In contrast, Delaware County’s page, updated in June 2026, says those patients can request reimbursement through Morgan’s website. Morgan’s Crozer page also now carries a “Crozer Refund Request” button. If you paid $35 or $75 in summer 2025, it costs nothing to file.
The March 2, 2027 deadline
The county says all Crozer Health System records are set for destruction after March 2, 2027, apart from the imaging ChristianaCare can reach. That leaves less than five months from this check. The county’s advice is to request records as soon as possible rather than wait until a new doctor asks for them. For the backstory on how the system shut down, see our Crozer closure timeline.
If you can’t use an online portal
This is the biggest gap in the official instructions. Morgan’s Crozer page lists no phone number, email or mailing address. In addition, the forms assume you have an email account and a device that can upload an ID photo. WHYY reported in June 2025 that some older residents had no email or computer and couldn’t reach anyone by phone.
Your realistic options:
Call the Delaware County Health Department Wellness Line at (484) 276-2100. It isn’t a records office, but the county points people there for help with the Crozer process. The health department has also held sessions at senior centers, where staff helped people file on laptops.
Ask a family member or a trusted friend to sit with you and file the request using your email address, so the records come to you. You still sign the authorization yourself.
Ask your new doctor’s office. Many practices request records for new patients, though they’ll still be working through Morgan’s system.
Be careful with older contact details. Crozer’s spring 2025 letter listed separate phone lines for hospital records and for physician office records. Those numbers predate the Morgan arrangement. Meanwhile, the other records company’s Crozer page no longer exists.
Frequently asked questions
Can I still log in to the Crozer patient portal?
The HealthLink login page still loads as of October 12, 2026, but Crozer has not said what’s still available inside it or for how long. Use it to save anything you can see, and request the official copy from Morgan.
Is there a phone number for Crozer medical records?
None is published for Morgan’s Crozer requests. The county’s Wellness Line, (484) 276-2100, can help you get started, and Morgan’s status page tracks a request by ticket ID.
Do I need a separate request for imaging or maternity records?
Yes. Morgan uses one form per department, so radiology, maternity, behavioral health and the rest each need their own request.
Are Crozer records really free?
Electronic delivery is listed at $0 under the court-approved deal paid for by the Foundation for Delaware County. A mailed USB drive still has a fee.
What happens to my records after March 2, 2027?
Delaware County says unclaimed Crozer records are set for destruction after that date, except imaging that ChristianaCare can access.
Before March 2, 2027: request every department you were seen in, save each ticket ID, and download the files as soon as they arrive. Our step-by-step Crozer records guide covers each screen of the request.
